5 years down....WE MADE IT
I have been Mrs. Finley since 2008...and a lot has happened since then. One (pain-in-the-ass) house, two kids, five summers, five winters, and all the stuff in the middle that has become our day-2-day lives. The hardest/happiest five years of my life and the ones that are setting the stage for us as a family....it's only up from here....I can't wait to make the rest of this life work with Mr. Finley. Here's 23 random reasons why:
1. He's one of the hardest workers I know
2. He remembers every Simpson episode
3. He can tolerate the fact that sometimes I don't brush my teeth on the weekend
4. Kit & Carter are half of him
5. He washes baby bottles every morning
6. He has a great, big family that our kids get to grow up along side
7. He can make the best Fountain Street Waterpark
8. He hasn't divorced my Mom...yet:)
9. He has strong, working man hands
10. He can make great fried potatoes and Alfredo sauce and meatballs
11. He laughs at me when I'm mad...and it makes me feel better
12. His cell phone will always be a flip phone
13. He has survived several crazy Soup Parties
14. He eventually made it into the car on both rides to the hospital for both births
15. He owns 50 t-shirts and wears 5 of them
16. He loves pickles as much as Kit
17. He can drive a big white truck, a flashing red truck, and his own Big Sexy
18. He is always right....98% percent of the time:)
19. He's famous for his girly showers & prep time.....45 minutes to get ready?!
20. We only fight in the car
21. He hasn't gotten sick of me
22. I haven't gotten sick of him
23. He gets better every year
