Kit helps with lots of things: getting into her carseat, pushing the cart at the grocery store, flushing the toilet, taking dishes out of the dishwasher, folding laundry, helping Dad with the new kitchen. Hope she keeps this up for awhile:)
We're stocked-up on summer essentials at our house: hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, bathing suits, tank tops, kiddie swimming pool. The only thing we don't have is a swing and a slide in our backyard which Kit asks for every morning. No joke-this kid wants to be at the park ALL the time:)
I finally decided to keep a blog so our kids will have a written record of us as a family. I'm finally starting to figure out how to make our life work after living with our first-born for one whole year. I'm a slow learner....but determined to raise our kids to be critical thinkers, social butterflies, good laughers, excellent listeners, and a person with a good heart that can handle just about anything. It's going to take some work making sure our heads are on straight to ensure theirs will be too. I'm not into whiners, codependent kids, too much sugar, no discipline....no personality and no helping hands. Not my Kit & CarterBaby!
