It's been two weeks and we've gotten a lot done, but there's a lot more to do. We've lived in this house for three years and just now I'm finally beginning to feel like we're really getting somewhere. Don't let the outside's peeling paint fool you...Troy has always been busy. But, now we just want to get it done and we're calling-in all our favors.
Mom has spent six days with me while I've been off and believe me I'm not a fun one to work with sometimes. It takes me a few swear words to really want to dig in and get dirty. After 30 years, I've decided I should finally start listening to her. She has made me want to get this house done, to do things the right way, and most of all use Murphys Oil Soap like nobody's business. I'm ashamed to say a Swiffer has been cleaning my woodwork for awhile and it's about time it took a hiatus. 509 Fountain St has never smelled so good. God bless Murphys Oil Soap!
I don't know if I hate this house or love this house...maybe I'll just hate it while it's ugly, and then when it's beautiful it will be my favorite thing in the world....go f*cking figure.
